Development speed increased
Collectius engaged Kanso Code to enhance their debt-collection operations through the development of a customized MS Dynamics CRM. The collaboration aimed to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support the company's growth and expansion plans.
In 2022, the company increased its assets under management (AUM) to US$7.1 billion, servicing over 6.3 million customers across Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, India and Vietnam.
Reduce Operational Costs: Streamline the debt collection process to lower operational expenses, particularly by reducing the time and resources needed for managing customer accounts.
Support Scalability: Design the CRM to accommodate future growth in customer volume and geographic expansion, ensuring it remains effective as the business scales.
Improve Product Requierments Process: Establish a structured requirements-gathering and prioritization process to manage input from multiple stakeholders and offices.
In the initial phase, we conducted an in-depth evaluation of the existing architecture to identify critical areas that needed enhancement. We appointed a Lead MS Dynamics Engineer to spearhead the technical analysis and to establish the groundwork for the CRM system improvements.
This phase focused on understanding the specific requirements and challenges faced by Collectius to align our development strategies with their business goals.
Understanding what are technology required, team composition from the in-house side and off-shore helped to compile a feasable hiring strategy.
Without clear technology overview and team analysis it is impossible to build long lasting Off-shore team, because progress is depends on the parties synergy.
During this phase, we assembled a remote off-shore team consisting of highly skilled software engineers, including experts in QA, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), and MS Dynamics. This team was tasked with implementing the CRM enhancements and ensuring system stability and scalability.
Outcome:
In the final phase, our Agile Process Consulting was deployed to optimize the development process. The focus was on ensuring that all stakeholders’ inputs were managed effectively through a structured prioritization framework, avoiding feature creep while delivering high-impact improvements.
The Senior Project Manager (Certified Scrum Master) Consultant worked closely with Collectius to align the project outcomes with the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring that the CRM system was not only effective but also adaptable to future needs.
Deliverables:
Kanso Code’s strategic partnership with Collectius has successfully transformed their debt-collection operations through the development and implementation of a robust MS Dynamics CRM system. Our long-term engagement, combined with agile consulting and a dedicated off-shore team, enabled Collectius to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and prepare for future growth. The collaboration not only addressed current business challenges but also positioned Collectius to scale effectively and meet the demands of a rapidly growing customer base across Southeast Asia.
