Simpl approached Kanso Code with the need to digitalize their business processes and modernize their backend systems. Simpl is a joint venture between Meridiam and Blunomy (the specialized consultant on the SDG methodologies).

Before approaching implementation phase, Kanso Code had to study and build comprehensive development plan for the sustainbility measuremet methodology.

1. Discovery Phase

The discovery phase is critical to delivering a software product on time and within budget. It ensures all stakeholders are aligned, their needs are understood, and the key user flows of the application are clearly defined. This phase reduces risks and provides a solid foundation for the development process.

Asking the right questions is vital for building a successful product. During the three-week discovery phase, Kanso Code thoroughly explored the client’s business challenges to present the best solution within the required timeline. This in-depth analysis ensured that the proposed solution was both effective and aligned with the client’s objectives.

2. Solution Development

The development of the product focused on two main objectives: kickstarting the product development and initiating the hiring of a local team to support the product post-release.

The key focus was on building an Agile team capable of delivering smoothly while continuously gathering requirements from the client and stakeholders. Unlike traditional software development, building a Digital Venture emphasizes optimizing processes over speed. This approach ensures sustainable growth and long-term success.

3. In-house CTO / Team Hiring Consulting

While product is a crucial part of delivery, having onboarded a team who will be able to keep up with the development post-release is something you can't neglect in Digital venture.

Kanso Code was involved into hiring over 300 specialists over the years for clients we've been working with. Having leadership on the client side helps product to grow organically and be able to innovate faster.

Technologies & Tools

Simpl had technology stacked focused on efficiency of development using standard ReactJS framework for the frontend and NestJS / PostgreSQL for the backend. The solution is hosted on the Google Cloud using efficient Cloud Run for simplified DevOps process.

Airtable - is a crucial piece of architecture as there are manye stakehodlers required interface for modifying methodology for ESG and EUT ratings. Simpl is taking very seriously their scoring system and it helped to save a lot of time for development.

Auth0 - one of the easiest ways to create secure and GDPR compliant user management out of the box.

Gen AI - for data validation pre-filled questionaries. Helps massively to reduce human labor on manual work related to data.
